Dragons Continue Winning Ways
The St George Illawarra Dragons, down Jamie Soward, Darius Boyd and Jason Nightingale, proved today they have the depth and the discipline needed to again be a huge threat in the 2011 NRL. They faced off today against the third placed Cowboys and kept them scoreless until just before the full-time siren when Jonathon Thurston became the first player in three game to score a try against the Dragons. The Dragons won 22-6, and look to have a few injury concerns with Mark Gasnier and Ben Creagh, along with Kyle Stanley in some discomfort.
In the other game, the Titans miserable season continues with a 34-14 loss to the Warriors.
