Permian 0-3, Make it Tough run to Playoffs

The Permian Panthers face an uphill battle to make the Playoffs this season in Texas 5A High School Football. They faced off against Midland Lee on Friday Night, with high hopes considering both sides 0-2 record. At the end of the day, Lee led all game to seal a 20-13 to leave Permian scrambling for air. Permian have suffered two consecutive under achieving years after coach Darren Allman had resurrected the Panthers Program and took up the Head Coach at Austin Westlake, who he took to the State Championship title game. He recently was announced at the Head Coach of the USA Under 19 National team. One thing for sure, he put Permian back on the map, but the last two seasons have seen them slide back off.
