Carolina 23 , 49ers 20

Admit it.
As the Carolina Panthers were imploding in the fourth quarter against San Francisco, you sat on your couch or in your seat at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday and counted the new and creative ways the Panthers would lose again.
But a funny thing happened on the way to 0-6.

Quarterback Matt Moore bounced back from a bad interception, rookie receiver David Gettis made up for an earlier end zone drop with a touchdown catch and the Panthers throttled one of their former teammates to beat the 49ers 23-20 and snap a five-game losing streak.
