The Sydney Roosters have won an extraordinary finals game against the Wests Tigers 19-15 in the 100th minute of the game, after the score were locked 15all at the end of regulation. The Tigers looked to have the game sewn up and were leading 15-6 coming into the final twenty minutes, but a combination of an inspired Todd Carney and an busted Benji Marshall, providing the Chooks with the chance to get even and ultimately win. The game was not without fire and spark, with Benji Marshall being pinged for punching which denied the Tigers a try, and in the final minutes Jaryd Whare-Hargreaves was hit high with a shoulder, which should see some form of action. It denied the Chooks a penalty, which they should have plotted over to win the game. The Tigers got over the try-line three times in the first ten minutes, all to Gareth Ellis, before the scored first through Lote Tuquiri.
