The Penrith Panthers scored an amazing win over the Bulldogs 24-18 on Monday Night Footy. The win however will come at a cost as Panthers captain, Petro Civoniceva was given his marching orders for a swinging arm. The game was incredible, as so many have been in 2010, with the Doggies marching out to a strong 18 nil lead, and the game looked over as the Doggies were committed to giving Luke Patten and Brett Kimmorley the send-off they deserved. However close to Full-time, the Doggies were back in a fight and the scores were locked 18all. A Kimmorley attempt at field goal, was charged down and the Panthers Micheal Gordon streaked away for the winning try. I guess, in so many ways, it summed up the Doggies season, and now the Panthers face the end of theirs with the probably suspension of their captain. However, he does have a clean record, and that may see him escape.
