OH When the Saints !!! Come Marching in !!!

The Dragons flexed their defensive muscle, yet again, and showed some attacking spark as they dominated the Manly Sea Eagles 32-10. Considering the Dragons played without their halfback and captain, Ben Hornby, the win was even more meritorious. The game was marred again by refereeing controversy with the Dragons and the Eagles benefiting with dodgy try calls. The match marked the return to footy for Nathan Fien, and he responded with some great individual attacking worth, albeit a bit soft at times in defence.

Dragons were served well by the forwards, with Jarrod Saffy and Beau Scott dominant, while for Manly Michael Robertson certainly looked the goods and sparked the Eagles attack with his touches. Jason King exploded late in the game with several high shots and swinging arms and it is likely he will miss some weeks of footy coming into the business end of the season.
