Soward Makes 100

Five-eighth Jamie Soward will this week play his 100th career NRL match when the Dragons take on the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium this Sunday.
Soward made his NRL debut for the Roosters back in round nine of season 2005 before joining the Dragons mid-way through 2007. The Wagga Kangaroos junior played 22 games for the Roosters and will play his 78th match in the red and white this weekend.
The 25 year old is happy to have reached the milestone but admits it has taken a while.
“I’m happy to have reached the milestone but it has taken a little longer than I had hoped,” Soward said. “In saying that though I’m happy that I’ve been able to string a large number of games together in a row here at the Dragons.”
Unavailable Dragons are: Nathan Fien (leg - Rnd 22-24), Peni Tagive (ACL - indefinite), Dan Hunt (Achilles – 2011), Michael Weyman (suspended - Rnd 22)
