I really feel for the Storm. Playing for nothing, like play pretending for leadership camps, they are playing for nothing. Fine that the can talk about extending the game with a cavalier Globetrotters approach, but when it is necessary to dig in to win a game, the ability to roll up the sleeves and dig in, just isn't there.
And that was clear to see in Perth last night with the Rabbitohs holding in to win 16-14, after the scores were locked at 4all at halftime. For the Rabbitohs, Colin Best, playing for his future was amongst the best with Isaac Luke and Dave Taylor, while Billy Slater was his ever present dangerous self.
