Not Sure about the Blues

Not sure exactly what the NSW selectors were thinking when they selected the Blues side for State of Origin Three. They seemed to have gone for a bit of an each-way bet, selecting some youth and energy, but stuck them with some duds from the past.

While you must applaud the selections of Michael Jennings, Michael Gordon, Kade Snowden and Tim Mannah, you surely must question why Trent Barrett was retained and promoted to captain??

Additionally the sticking with Mitchell Pearce is an extremely positive move, but again NSW have gone with that neanderthal Paul Gallon, and combining his questionable selection with fellow firebrand Greg Bird and serial pest Anthony Watmough leads to the tactics that the Blues will use to try and salvage some pride.

The biggest question for mine is who has Tom Learoyd-Lars has something over. This guy is the most over-rated player in our game. You cannot call him an impact player, you cannot call him a mongrel player, he doesn't rattle the cage in defence, but he can lumber at a field with extreme moderation. Why are we sticking with him???? He hasn't set the world alight for Canberra , let alone NSW.

I cannot see NSW winning. They havn't thought for the future, they have taken an each-way bet sure to fail.
