Monday Night Chook Lotto

The Melbourne Storm have tonight lost again at their new ground at AAMI Stadium, with the Sydney Roosters showing them how it is done with an emphatic 38-6 win. The win gives the Roosters some momentum as they stand on the cusp of the top eight.
The Storm dominated the first fifteen minutes of the game, but it was the Chooks that scored first and that set the tone for the remainder of the game. The Roosters led 18-0 at half-time and maintained their scoring rate during the second half, with the Storm snaring a try to, at least, trouble the scorers.

At times it was a fiery affair with opposing props Adam Blair and Frank-Paul Nuuausala having a great battle up front. Interestingly, NSW Coach was seen in the dressing sheds at half-time, but even his appearance couldn't save the Storm. Thought it was a strange decision, based on the drama surrounding the NSW team coming into Origin 2.
