If we Thought Friday Night was Good

If we thought that the Friday Night games were special this week with dominating performances from the Dragons and the Panthers, then Saturday night gave us the cliff-hangers. Firstly the Broncos held on to defeat an ordinary Eels outfit 10-6. The young Broncos team looked certain victors, but the Eels never gave up and Jaryd Hayne particularly remained dangerous for the Blue and Golds.

The Cowboys fixed their first half fades going to a 18-0 against the Sharks, but someone forget to tell them they still needed to play for the second half. The Sharks dragged themselves out of half-time and into unlikely victors courtesy of the poor defence and impatient attack, being shown by the Cowboys. In Golden Point the Sharks blew up over a penalty given to the Cowboys, that was inexplicably missed by Jonathon Thurston and then Trent Barret finally nailed his sixth attempt at a field goal to win the game 20-19.

Seriously though, the Cowboys are hopeless with schoolboy errors affecting their game. On tonights form they will be lucky to win another game this season.
