Danger Signs Ahead

According to reports, the Australian selectors are looking to drop some bombshells with the upcoming Test match. Cameron Smith the Aussie Vice Captain, is rumoured to be dropped for Robbie Farrah, based around his statistics for the season. Additionally, Israel Folou is also likely to be excluded due to his ongoing flirtation with rival codes. If he is to be dropped, let it be on form

Danger signs are evident. Stats only tell you a portion of the story. They don't tell you the impact, the passion and the role in the team. To drop the inspirational Smith for Farrah, is a huge backwards step. Even NSW selectors have pushed Bulldog Micheal Innes ahead of Farrah, for Origin selection. Farrah has been there and failed.

As for Folou, good riddance to him. His form for Melbourne was superb, his form in Brisbane has been incredibly scratchy and he would be close to the most over-rated player in the NRL today.
