You can't get a form line through this comp, can ya. Saturday night proved that again with the Doggies spiraling out of the game with the Warriors, the Tigers holding on against a JT injured Cowboys and at least the Rabbitohs showed some form with their demolition of the Knights
Blue Tongue Stadium played host to the Rabbits v Knights game. The Knights were brave but the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs were just too good with their big forward pack really laying down the platform. Souths won 28-10.
The North Queensland Cowboys lost Jonathon Thurston with a left shoulder injury and will lose Luke McDonnell for the next couple of weeks with a brain explosion in the final minutes of the first half. Aaron Payne is now also in doubt with a knee injury. The Tigers have lost young Tim Moltzen for the season when his left knee exploded in a simple kick chase. The Talking point is obviously the injuries, but both teams played an error ridden game which ultimately was won by the Tigers 19-12.
The Bulldogs have started NRL2010 in the worst possible sense having won just one game. They were expected to defeat the hot and cold New Zealand Warriors easily but lost 30-24. The game was locked at 24all with 20 minutes to play, and both teams had chances of field goals, but it was a try to Lance Hohaia in the final minute that settled the game for the Kiwis.
