Lockyer Leaves it to the Selectors

In a bewildering move, Darren Lockyer has chosen NOT to retire from Representative Rugby League, instead electing to lead both Australia and Queensland in 2010, IF CHOSEN.

On current form, it is our view that Lockyer has left a lot to chance on selectors loyalty, with his form being rated as poor, and his attitude as defeatist. Only great players are allowed to "choose" when to go, and it would appear that Lockyer has clearly made the wrong call. On form, Thurston, Prince and Cronk should form the halves combination's. Qld selectors will show loyalty to Locky, but this will do them no good. At this stage, I will be betting on a NSW CLEAN SWEEP for 2010.

On form, the Broncos should not see one player selected in either of the Origin sides.
