The Rabbitohs were disappointing in the second half, but the urgency from the Eels improved markedly. The game became a bit spiteful during the second half, and the refs struggled with control of the game. That being said, the discipline and desire from the Pride of the League was missing badly.
Again it was an absolute measure of how this comp is going with inconsistent form being shown often by any number of teams. Based on previous form, the Rabbits were lay down miseres, while the Eels wouldn't be backed with Phil Gould money.
