Dragons Continue Anzac Tradition

The Dragons and Roosters played out an extremely tight and torrid first half of footy today in their annual Anzac Day Clash. The Dragons faced the uncharacteristic position in which they were behind on the scoreboard at half-time 6-4 in front of a bumper crowd of over 36,000 at the Sydney Footy Stadium.

The first half was tight and torrid but the Dragons pulled out all stops in the second half, only after strangling the Roosters to death with their efficiency and discipline. It was a real forwards battle but it was the Dragons backs in Darius Boyd, Matt Cooper, Nick Emmit and Brett Morris that shone. Ben Hornby played a whale of a game, on the back of the work channelled through the front by Dan Hunt and Neville Costigan.

The Dragons won 28-6 confirming their dominance of the Anzac Day Clash
