Broncos Win Big Over Sharks

The Brisbane Broncos returned to the winners circle with a comprehesive 44-16 victory over an outclassed Sharks outift at Suncorp Stadium.

The Broncos welcomed back some key players, in Cory Parker, Israel Folou, Jarol Yow Yeh and Antonio Winterstein and they looked a different team, scoring early and were never headed.

From an injury front, the Broncos looked to have suffered knee injuries to Peter Wallace and Jaral Yow Yeh, while for the Sharks it was a casualty ward of sorts with injuries suffered right through the game. The worst was an injury to Josh Cordoba, who looks to have suffered a horrendous injury to his arm and elbow. The crowd of over 25,000 went silent as they saw the injury occur on the big screen and the pain was obvious as Cordoba thrashed around.

In the end, it was a welcome return to form by Brisbane, which will see them come off the ladder, while the Sharks woes continue. NRL2010 will be a long year for coach Ricky Stuart.

Great time to have to play Cronulla. Broncos were struggling and Sharks are just about a gimme.
