The New Zealand Warriors came to Robina to play and stunned the Gold Coast Titans with an early attacking onslaught. The Titans looked scrappy, while the Warriors looked sharp, however the Titans only trailed by six at half-time. They trailed 18-6, but a final minute try gave the 18-12 scoreline.
The Titans played better in the second half, but it was still the Warriors who looked the better side. The Titans looked disorganised, but good times find a way to win even when they don't play the best. They leveled the score at 18 all, and then a clever kick from Nathan Friend, resulted in a try for Preston Campbell to give the Titans the lead.
The Warriors pushed hard to score the winning try, but ultimately ran out of time. This will be one lamented by the Warriors as one that got away.
