Tim Smith Signs with Cronulla

The boys are glad we made the effort to watch the Queensland Cup clash between Easts Tigers and the Central Qld Comets, to witness the class of Tim Smith in his last game for the Brisbane club. It was announced today that Smith has been released from his dual registration with Brisbane Easts and the Brisbane Broncos and has signed a deal with Cronulla until the end of 2011.

It will be interesting to see how well Smith adapts back to the grind of the NRL, and just how Brisbane go if they falter in their halves. I will expect Smith to continue his good pre-season Broncos form and the form he showed in the QLD CUP. The other interesting scenario is how Smith will go under Ricky Stuart, a notorious killer of half-backs.
